Plant a Row for the Hungry

In 1995, the Garden Writers Association began Plant a Row for the Hungry (PAR), a national program where people grow extra vegetables in thier gardens to help feed the hungry in their community.

Loveland Youth Gardeners initiated Loveland PAR in 2005. In the first four seasons, Loveland PAR contributed over 12, 600 lbs. of produce to needy families in our community.

If you would like to be a part of 2009 Loveland PAR, please call the Loveland Youth Gardeners office at 669-7182.
